Jeff,
"It was a pleasure working with you on obtaining our new addition to our home. Samson (Congo) has brought great joy and pleasure from the moment we picked him up from the airport!
My daughter took him out of the shipping crate and he’s been in her arms ever since; tagging along everywhere she goes.
His training and development has progressed greatly and he’s turning out to be quite the show dog as you stated when we talked prior to his arrival.
There are a lot of breeders out there who say and promise a lot of things about their kennel and breeding program; however, in my experience dealing with you as a breeder and your kennel (Vom Boyce Haus Kennels) everything you had stated about Samson (Congo) is spot on.
I highly recommend your kennel to anyone who is looking for top line West German shepherds as new additions to their home."

"HI Jeff,
Let me 1st say that my family wants very much to get another one of Amerika’s pups.
Now, to my story….
We got Dutch from you on Valentine’s day 2009.
My husband went to work in Ecuador in May of 2010 and he brought Dutch with him.
He had a cute little farm house with chickens and a lot of room for Dutch to run around, not to mention Dutch was GREAT security for him.
Pablo’s cousin is a vet and a GSD breeder and jumped at the opportunity to breed Dutch with one of her dogs. So, Dutch became a father in the later summer of 2010, now he is a grandfather.
Well, After about 7 months I decided we are not the “work in different places and only see each other a couple times a year” kind of couple and he needed to come home. LOL
But, getting Dutch back into the US proved a lot harder than getting him out.
Also, we just did not think it was going to be very fair to take him from the beautiful weather and land that he had become accustomed to and bring him to a 3rd floor apartment in Houston.
So, Pablo decided to talk to his old colleagues with the National Police and see if they had any needs in their program for a dog like Dutch.
They were overjoyed! They kept asking him again and again “do we really get to keep him?”
Dutch fit in great from the 1st day there. They do not have any other dogs in that program that even hold a candle to the caliber of dog that Dutch is.
They have a really nice facility with a section dedicated to the dogs with big kennels, and an on-site vet.
We miss him terribly. I have never had a dog that had that much drive and just a pure joyous desire to work.
He could be the scariest thing you’ve ever seen one moment if he sensed someone “questionable” approaching me and then a moment later he was just a big playful puppy licking my Chihuahua’s.
One of the things I like the most about him physically are his legs and paws. They are thick and muscular. His chest and neck are also just outstanding. He has such a presence.
His intense drive made him so easy to train. Within a week of getting him home he was completely house trained, loved his kennel, and never minded being on a leash. He knew if we had the leash he was going to “do something” so he never had any negative feelings associated with it.
Also, he was never a picky eater, unlike my other GSD.
This about sums it up.
We miss him terribly. My daughter is planning a trip back to Ecuador later this year and I hope she gets a chance to go to the base and visit with him.
(if she does I will make sure she gets pictures)
I have put some pictures and a couple of video’s here-
I have attached my favorite photo of him with Pablo in the kitchen of the farmhouse in Ecuador. He was such a big boy!
I am still searching for the rest. I had more video of him actually in Ecuador but we have moved twice since then so I am having a hard time locating everything.
If I find it I will add to that Album.
Take Care,
Carol."

"Buying a German Shepherd is one of the most important purchases you will ever make because the breed is loyal to the owner and becomes an extended member of the family. When I decided that I wanted to buy a puppy I became overwhelmed with the websites that you can buy a GSD from. I spent days researching the American GSD from the European and decided that I wanted a dog from the strong GSD lines overseas. I looked at dog shows on youtube and read about the breed standards. Then I slowly combed through a hundred different breeders in the US and oversees to determine what specific line I wanted. Happily, I came across the Vom Boyce Haus Kennel one day and was impressed with the simple message on their website and the pictures of their beautiful dogs and puppies. Their pedigrees were solid and the conformation of their dams and sires were second to none. However, more importantly was the question of who stood behind that website. After all, anybody can hire someone to create a website. I began a dialogue with Jeffrey and later his wife and I am proud to say that they are the most reliable honest people that I have come across in years. They will answer your questions honestly and stand behind their word. Those are qualities that are hard to find today. Initially, I was going to pick the puppy up but when that was not possible, they were flexible and worked with me to transport the puppy by air. Jeffrey helped to purchase the crate and even a dog collar. I have found them willing to go beyond what is expected to make the purchase of their puppies as pleasant and easy as possible. We have communicated so much that I feel like they are friends that I could call years down the road for advice. The puppy is beautiful and everything they said she was. Bright, alert, beautiful temperament, conformation and obedient. You can see her on the website. Her name is Razzy. In 2 weeks she has learned so much and I only look forward to years of pleasure with her as a faithful companion. If you want a top notch dog from solid honest people then you must call Vom Boyce Haus Kennel. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Feel free to call me with any questions you might have about this kennel."

"My family and I have wanted a beautiful German Shepard of our own for quite some time now, but never found the right time to truly commit to being dog owners. We didn't want to give Quira less than she deserved, so if we were going to adopt, it was going to be when we all knew we could handle it.
Well, the time came and what can I say...every aspect of the adoption was exceptional. From the communication, to the logistics, to the arrival of our new family member, everything went smoothly! We couldn't be more grateful. We love Quira with all of our hearts and enjoy sending updates as she gets older! We will definitely continue doing so.

Dear Jeff,
"I am writing to tell you about our GSD, Kai Vom Boyce Haus.
He is truly an 82-pound bundle of fun, pure joy and a delight to be with.
Kai came into our lives on November 22, 2008, just a few weeks short of his 1st birthday on December 5. In the summer of 2008 we had lost our last GSD to a disease called Degenerative Myelopathy (DM). My husband, myself, and our female German Shepherd, Brenna, were in a world of pain, but finally we all decided we needed to give a good home to a new dog.
After looking around, I eventually came across Kai’s photo on the German Shepherd Pedigree website and, well, it was love at first sight! Unfortunately, he was promised to someone else before I called but the next day, you e-mailed and said if we wanted him, he was ours. Several days later he was on a flight to Phoenix and we were at the airport about four hours early anxiously awaiting his arrival.
I remember looking through the door of his crate when the airline baggage handlers wheeled him out and seeing his big black nose and face staring back at me.
As we walked him through the airport at least five people said to me, “what a beautiful dog!”
When we got home and he met Brenna, he immediately gave her a big lick in the face and they have been best friends ever since. They are inseparable, when one goes to the vets, they both have to go!
As soon as summer arrived we taught Kai how to swim in the swimming pool and he loves it. While he has a doggy door, he never goes into the pool unless he is told it is OK. He even made up his own game with some floating balls that the dogs play with while they are in the pool. When it is time to get out, he takes the balls in his mouth and puts them in the “ball bin” on the deck and doesn’t touch them until told it is time to swim again, which is several times a day all summer long.
He loves car rides, playing with his many ‘kongs on ropes’ he has laying all over the house and yard, and is “really scary” when he greets visitors at the front door, just what we want.
He gets so excited when it is time to do fun things, we have to spell words out, but he is so smart that lately I think he has learned how to spell!
I have taken him to several training classes and done private training with him and he is a quick learner and eager to please.
My goal has been to spoil him rotten and I think I have done a good job – he is a very loved member of our family.
